But I remember perfectly this Román... He was awesome. I can't forget the 1998 Boca Juniors... It was a freaking dream team.
He was actually RUNNING!

But I can say his passing was a little worse than this, maybe I overrated him a little in this aspect. If we can agree a number, I could lower them a little. So what do you say?
lew87 is responding to passing as another post hinted at it but did not specify a value, hence it not being quoted.

shouldn't teamwork and passing be lower here. he was a bit more greedy back then and not really a well-established playmaker.

probably his TW and short pass speed should be lower but SPA is ok

he doesn't deserve the center star.
HE DESERVES THE TACTICAL BRIBBLING STAR (HE WAS THE BEST IN THE WORLD DOING THAT)
his response was higher than 80, his shoot acc should be higher too, he had better shooting at that time.

Mate, do you ever learn? :P C'mon!! Expand on your post, say why, look @ other players and mention them in relation to his speed. Such a pointless post is only going to get the harsher mods to eviscerate you. :o

Try to make relevant posts and if you have values in your mind then use them. Do what I do. Start a post like the one you just made, but don't click post. take a moment to think about speed, maybe dl a match or watch a video and look @ the ladders. Don't just say "Wasn't he faster a touch?" a touch what? :|

How fast do you think he was? :) No one will moan at you for that. Even saying 99 is more productive than the actual post you made, so please try to expand on it and maybe we can get some discussion going, instead of deeming this posting all a worthless bump.

Values!

Maybe as fast as Macheda and James McFadden? ^_~ Hehe!!

No. -_- He... just wasn't. -Shakes head- No. No to raising TS. Bullard/Murphy/O'Hara speed player. No quicker than them. Even 81 would put him ona par with Fellaini and Aquilani. :)

someone needs to make a set of stats for his villreal days, those were his best days. Also it would nice to have a prime riquelme in the database cuz the current riquelme is overrated and i would like to see his stats for his prime.

The current riquelem stats are him from his villareal period, very little would change. Regarding these stats.... really he was THIS GOOD at 20 years old? Seems like this is from a little later on

he was in his prime in 2007 when he won the libertadores, being boca's best scorer and choosen best player of the tournament, he also was argentina NT best player and scorer in copa america and named best south american player by fox sports in that year, he was STRONGER, bit more accurate and a bit faster than villarreal era and in my opinion the only player who deserves a 99 for SPA is the 2007 roman ;)

I think the current set really represents his prime well... as I said before not much would differ. Alot of people feel this riquelme is.. over rated or too good. His prime would be this but even better... I'm not sure how well recived that would be. I could give it a shot... But again I think his current set is near perfect for his prime
