 Re: COSTINHA
I'd reduce his response by 2-3 points. The timing of his tackles was usually erratic, resulting in him receiving cards.

 Re: COSTINHA
I don't know when Tom & Alex made these stats....but he hasn't played very much this season. I'm guessing it is more of a disagreement when the stats, than based on recent performances

Anyway, to translate you statement: stevan wrote: he has more response than Melo but he is a very bad player....but we can't do nothing because he doesn't play....and he doesn't play because is a very bad player....so he has an high response and high values because is a very bad player...ok ok Like platone said: Se vuoi cercare di fare cambiare idea a un idiota lascia stare....meglio ke la cambi tu l'idea Can you understand how you sound? It is like saying "I am hungry because I am hungry" instead of saying "I am hungry because I haven't eaten since breakfast." (as an example)

 Re: COSTINHA
So basically you are saying that he is "overrated". The fact is that we haven't seen him enough to really know if he is still at this quality or not. We can't just lower people based off of articles or interviews. We base it off what we see on the pitch. Here is my response right above your post: jmg721 wrote: I don't know when Tom & Alex made these stats....but he hasn't played very much this season. I'm guessing it is more of a disagreement when the stats, than based on recent performances Which is basically what I just said. We can discuss the changes in the stats, but it needs to be ladder based, and not just based off quotes from coaches.

 Re: COSTINHA
Quote: Injured 20-Oct-07 to 31-Dec-09 -> Muscular problems So he hasn't played in almost 2 years due to injuries, and not just because he is a "very bad" player. So you basically want us to guess how he'd play now? These stats were made by very good stats makers based on the last time he was playing. We can lower the stats if the stats on the site have evolved since then, but not just because he hasn't played. Look at Rosicky, Aquilani, C. Zanetti, etc.

 Re: COSTINHA
On a serious note(because this stuff is a freakin' joke now), I'd like to discuss how we can make these stats properly fit our ladders now. I'd like to lock this thread until he comes back and plays a few games, but I'll leave it open for proper ladder discussions 1st before I lock the thread.

 Re: COSTINHA
Costinha in his last match didn't steal a ball....he was very slow and out of condition like in all the last period(that last from one year) He was dribble by players of second category like he was a statue and he didn't resist all the 90 minutes in the pitch....but it was a match against a local team of trentino...his last appering...I saw it and Melo is 200 times better than Costinha ok?

 Re: COSTINHA
with atalanta from 2007 he played only 1 match , how can you make stats on him, he is a finished player.
a player of 36 years that loses 2 and a half years of his career with injuries for me is finished.

 Re: COSTINHA
I don't think he's this solid defensively anymore.
Currently he's on par with: Esteban CAMBIASSO, Christian POULSEN
and ahead of Gennaro GATTUSO.
It'd surely be fairer to have him on 76 where he'd be on par with: 76: Daniele DE VEZZE, Ezequiel CARBONI, Cristiano ZANETTI, Mathieu FLAMINI
