 Paolo DE CEGLIE
Name: Paolo DE CEGLIE Club: Juventus F.C. Number: 29 Position: SB, SMFNationality: Italian Age: 22 (17/09/1986) Foot: L Side: L Length: 184 cm Weight: 75 kg Attack: 74 Defence: 68 Balance: 80Stamina: 84Top Speed: 84Acceleration: 85Response: 81Agility: 78Dribble Accuracy: 77Dribble Speed: 82Short Pass Accuracy: 72 Short Pass Speed: 72 Long Pass Accuracy: 81 Long Pass Speed: 80 Shot Accuracy: 64 Shot Power: 82Shot Technique: 64 Free Kick Accuracy: 62 Curling: 81Header: 68 Jump: 74 Technique: 77Aggression: 83Mentality: 78Keeper Skills: 50 Team Work: 78Injury Tolerance: BCondition/Fitness: 6 Weak Foot Accuracy: 4 Weak Foot frequency: 4 Consistency: 5 Special Abilities: - Like Italy Under-21 team-mate Marchisio, De Ceglie caught the eye during the recent victory over Milan, when he terrorised the seasoned Gianluca Zambrotta down the left flank. A rampaging wing-man in the mould of Antonio Cabrini, De Ceglie still needs to improve his defending, and indeed his best position may prove to be at left midfield, where he can utilise his pace and excellent crossing ability.

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
I also don't understand why to Napoli, this is one of the most promising Serie A footballers, and better THAN MOLINARO, also, he is doing a good U 21, and the best game I have seen of him was against AC Milan(not a bad club).

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
I agree with ACC 83, TS 85 and DS should be 82 imo. Agree with Response 81/ 82 too. Rfuna wrote: i agree, he should go to inter Santon -> De Ceglie imo

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
What DE CEGLIE has better than SANTON is just BB, TS, ACC, DEF, MEN, RES. All the rest is worse... and SANTON is 4 years younger too...

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
for sure, was his main position when he was in Primavera, but both Siena(his former team) and Juventus plays with a 4 man defence.. anyway it's better to have less position as possible due to the weird tendency of IA to put man in wrong position on starting 11 (likes to swap the side of SB! it's easy to see Marcelo or Dossena on the right.. )

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
wfa and wff are wrong, were these randomly put? he's quite good with his right foot for a left footed sb. he's able to crossing (in his standards).

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
His Stamina imo needs to be higher. With this Aggression(deserved) he would last about..between 60 and 70 mins?...his overlapping on the side is a constant when he's on the field, and runs definitly a lot imo(bad that he's somewhat ignored from his mates someties, like tonight against Lazio). Imo Stamina at least around 85-86 mark.

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
Did you see any sign of top 80's TS (i.e. when he rushed past a midfielder and Diakitè with the ball)??

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
i think it's more on DS that. looks still fast with ball at feet De Ceglie. Like an 84 DS (Janku with 84 TS,Pepe with 84 TS,Iaquinta with 84 TS) or an 85 DS (Vargas with an 84 TS,Kolarov with an 86 TS,Padalino 84 TS)
oh,and probably id cut down a point each LPA and LPS.

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
yeah, DS is a bit low (84 i'd say), but TS needs addressing too... he looked to me 87-like. Consider that he likes to put the ball far away often when dribbling on the side, so you should consider TS a lot.

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
In a ladder of speed I see him slightly behind De Silvestri (89) in TS, I proposed a lot of time ago an 88 and i still think that I wasn't generous. The point is that, as zuo said, his teammates rarely pass the ball in the space to take advantage of his pace and put him on the condition to fully sprint and cross.. Hope Zac would put on the bench that ghost of Grosso and use Paolino a lot more. Indeed he has all the ingredients to be a great SB, just need an expert coach to cook them all together

 Re: Paolo DE CEGLIE
I actually have not been so impressed as DeFrenZ and Alex_10 with his TS, maybe Alex_10 is right juvetus have just not used it to its maximum effect yes, I thought 84 seemed okay and like zuo, I thought any of his effective pace was also largely down to high DS. zuo wrote: oh,and probably id cut down a point each LPA and LPS. I would want hi to get a good string of playing time to see if it needs coming down, as last season when he was brough off bench or someother times his crossing was really cultured, and precisly what we had been lacking from Molinaro. De Ceglie does have Consistency 5, so he does not need to live up to every cross as 80/ 81 level. Alex_10 wrote: Hope Zac would put on the bench that ghost of Grosso and use Paolino a lot more. I know DeFrenZ does not see De Ceglie as a SB, but too me at 22 years that is fine if he is not a prototypical defender yet, after Molinaro I rather have LB who can come up and cross and not waste so much possesion then the little more security Molinaro added - De Ceglie gots pace, he'll cope with porr positioning.

I think his crosses should need a little raise, maybe to 82.
