Zarate is an excellent dribbler with a lot of pace and agility, often evading several defenders with juking moves and skill. Zarate can be a good finisher and will often go for goal from distance whenever the opportunity presents itself. However, he admits it himself; he can be quite selfish when on the ball.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
ho-ho-hoo. yesterday's goal was proof of his BB/AGI/WBS combo. blazed past montolivo and others two viola with the ball. sometimes he really shows some brilliant football. im questionining myself if really Lavezzi is (really really slightly) stronger than him (-3 cm,-1 kg.+ 1 BB)....cause el pocho is more elusive...but i feel than when caught get grounded a bit more of times. also lavezzi is more a kind of diver btw.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
Poor that maybe a player like him he's really not 'emulable'. today against Catania, without jokes, with his stubborn dribblings he lost at LEAST 15 balls.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
i was just saying that his 'ego' can't be represented in the game. and you can't defend him in this way. if hed be able to make lazio win every game with this attitude, well then...but since he can't...this is modern football...you can't pretend to take on an entire team alone.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
is the fault of incompetent coach Ballardini, who tells him he must do the defensive, I think it's normal that an attacker has to fold up to make the defender? that then he should grow mentally very much agree

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
shouldn't his agility be higher? something like 89 or maybe 90...? He is extremely agile, with quick stepovers and turns.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
kind of update: Condition @ 7 (41 app 08/09 + 41 app 09/10) Consistency @ 5 (id probably do this.....he's much an up and down player. also 3 goals this season...and seems just different on a lot of matches) WFA @ 7 WFF @ 6 Maybe Agility @ 88 I could also consider to decreas his ATT to an 81. He's on par with Amoruso,Miccoli and Maccarone.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
I agree with zuo values, thinking also at the Cons value who will balance all.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
Updated with the last values.....about BB, i went for an 82....and i think it's the very end he could get. With an 82 (and high Agility too) he's stronger than Perrotta,Cambiasso and Rocchi.....and almost as strong as Pazzini,Matri and Flores.

 Re: Mauro ZÁRATE
I noticed his TECH is the same as Pedro (Barcelona). Not true IMO. And checking the ladder, I can say he's not on par with guys like Cigarini, Amauri or Mascara. He can belongs to Pizarro's zone or even Doni's one, considering also his CONS value (his key value IMO).
