Lacina Traore is a very interesing young player who debuted for CFR's main XI this season in the return. Despite his size he's a very nimble and technical player with a very decent speed as well. Being compared with Adebayor of Arsenal, they actually really do have a couple of things in common, sadly shooting seems to be among them . Even in the examples below you'll see that he can do some very nice stuff just to screw it up in the very last and most important moment. Still he's a very young player with a great future ahead if he keeps on improving.

Re: Lacina TRAORE
he's too irregular right now to warrant a higher set. I would also consider this goal lucky as he never showed any sort of accuracy with his weak foot either.

His passing vs Copenhagen was a total disaster

I just don't rate him as this fast. Also, whats with his Aggression value?

Lacina Traore doesn't seem fast when he jogs but I remember him outsprinting players with ease especially on longer distances. He's quick, nimble and very technical and reminds me of a young and weak Adebayor.
peep this example

Re: Lacina TRAORE
That's tall guy pace for you, I've it as well. I do think though, he's quite tall so that won't effect him and his weight isn't that heavy either. I think an 80 or an 81 would do him justice. We've to get a consistency of the player and how often he'll actually do it, otherwise we'll be rating players like Berbatov on 86.

lol trust me man... there used to be a vid of him vs Ghionea and he outran him with ease. Traore can not be compared to the regular slow pokes. He's more like Zigic, Crouch and Adebayor in this area.

Peter Crouch has: Top Speed: 75 Acceleration: 79
Zigic has: (and is heavier) Top Speed: 80 Acceleration: 79

I must've had the wrong guy in mind when I thought of Crouch. I do think that Traore is faster than Zigic though who isn't only heavier but also much stronger.

Re: Lacina TRAORE
I don't get the last part of your argument there... I meant he's heavier and thus would make him a lot slower than Lacina, which just isn't true.

Zigic is heavier and more physical but Traore is more nimble and quicker. Traore has to confirm 1st but I personally consider him a player that could become closer to the level of Ibrahimovic than Zigic.

Re: Lacina TRAORE
wooow Traore is faster than Zigic and definetly than Crouch.
I know that his Height doesnt recommend him as a fast player but he surely is especially on long distance like PMC said. The comparison with Adebayor is just perfect!

Re: Lacina TRAORE
total update:
Traore's positioning is still nothing to write essays about but he improved considerably enough to warrant a green value atleast. His balance is still nothing spectacular for a player his size but he knows how to use his body now, shielding the ball with ease and thus being a real pain in the ass for defenders. Considering the values people give to guys such as Gomez, Llorente & Co. I dare anyone to question his agility or dribbling stats. IMO he's more natural with the ball than Gomez but less safe - an area where he'll definately improve (I hope so atleast).
