 Re: Sergio VOLPI
Curious why he has a C for injury. After all, he played 28 games in 2007-08 season, 30 in 2006-07, 35 in 2005-06, 34 in 2004-05, and the list goes on. In fact, the last time he played less than 25 games was in 1998-99.

I watched most of Samps games lats year against the big 4 (Roma, Inter, Milan, Lazio) and he wasn't available for those games. You look at a player like Totti who's played more games last season, a hell of a lot more the season before, and only 3 less this season (but he's played 4 champions league games) yet we know he's been unlucky with injuries over the years and so we've also given him a C for injury.

 Re: Sergio VOLPI
He looks more like a CMF than DMF these days. Also I'm considering adding playmaking*. Thoughts?

 Re: Sergio VOLPI
I agree about playmaking.Last year Palombo made the dirty job and Volpi was able to create stuff instead of tackling...

 Re: Sergio VOLPI
Notes vs. Roma match: In focusing on the Mentality of the Roma MFs...I found that Volpi was the "most gritty" of the bunch. Really throughing his body around, and making some excellent slide tackles. Looking at the ladders here are my suggestions. Ment: 87Res: 83*Sliding? And I'm 50/50 on Playmaking. The announcers did call him Bologna's playmaker...but he looked less like one in this match

 Re: Sergio VOLPI
