Stefan Mardare was considered one of the biggest prospects of Fc Vaslui as centerback which got him the attention of bigger clubs such as Rapid Bucuresti. He 1st struggled to compete with the depth of the squad last season and got looked over various times. It seems that no coach does really trust him as centerback and as a consequence he had the odd appearance either at the back or as left back. In my opinion the left back position is only an emergency solution as he doesn't seem a player apt at playing this role in the modern game despite having a decent shot.
