A lot of people asked for the tool for make a formation like this:

Image

HOW TO DO

  • Open Notepad and paste the following text
    Code:
    <object width='640' height='480'><embed src='http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/2083/tool3zu1.swf' width='640' height='480'/></object>
  • Save the document, but do not save it as a .txt but select All Files. Then type the name of the document under which it is to be saved, ideally Formation Creator, add .html after this. So it should look like FORMATION CREATOR.HTML
  • Open that file and put players and arrows
  • make a screenshoot pressing STAMP
  • open Paint and press CTRL + V
  • delete unuseful parts
  • save it as PNG (not JPG) :!:
  • upload it somewhere (imageshack, tinypic, etc.)

Post Re: Formation Tool
If anyone wants to create the formations on the larger/older version that was removed/reduced for some reason, then follow these steps;

1. Open Notepad

2. Copy and paste the following text into Notepad;

<object width='640' height='480'><embed src='http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/2083/tool3zu1.swf' width='640' height='480'/></object>

3. Save the document, but do not save it as a .txt but select All Files. Then type the name of the document under which it is to be saved, ideally Formation Creator, add .html after this. So it should look like FORAMTION CREATOR.HTML.

4. Open the file from where you saved it and make a formation to be uploaded and linked. NOTE an image/screen capture tool is required to copy the image to be edited and saved to harddrive first, such a tool can easily be googled and downloaded off the internet.

Credit to Peter80000 for this idea. ;)

Post Re: Formation Tool
Well when I wrote 'older/larger' version I meant more that Imageshack or whoever hosts that tool reduced the original size on the webpage, the tool itself is most likely still the original -- that is there is no new version just a smaller version. This process is essentially just resizing that formation creator to the old values and placing it on your desktop. ;)
