The link for Euro 2016 qualification does not work. Do you guys by any chance have the formation from that qualification? The pic posted I think had:

---------------GK
----------CB-------CB
--RB---------------------LB
-----------DMF
---------------CMF
-RMF/AMF--------LMF/AMF
---------------SS
--------------CF

OR?

---------------GK
----------CB-------CB
--RB---------------------LB
-----------DMF
---------------CMF
-AMF--------AMF*-----AMF
--------------SS

I just recall it had the front 4 high up the pitch, so that they all could rotate with Lewandowski as a forward. *Milik was AMF?

I'm updating my OF and testing a new set for Grosicki and want to see him behave in the formation you guys had up for qualification (not the EUROs themselves, that was a bit different).

Milik and Lewy rotate as CF and SS. It looks like first post formation but after Milik injurie and chance for Teo it look a bit different. Only Lewy "track back" and not many times. So formation from quali looks like this:

---------------GK
----------CB-------CB
--RB---------------------LB
---------DMF
-----------------CMF
-RMF-------------------LMF
------------------SS
-----------CF

Also I'm glad hearing that you're working on Grosicki. I'm waiting for his "new" set. I will be looking on him when I will be working on full ladders update for Ekstraklasa wingers.

Thanks.

I did not expect anyone to be banking that much on Grosicki's update. I'll try not to let Poland's wingers down  ..He is a bit of a pain in the butt, since he rarely plays a full 90, either subbed on or off, and his impact is hit and miss for Rennes - even reddit commentators point out https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comment ... ?context=3 despite him being relatively consisent for Poland I'm thinking on the balance of it all Form/Condition could be 3.

I'll hopefully post on Saturday sometime, feedback welcome.

Looking at the players of the teams Poland will face in the 2018 WC, since I don't know the teams that well, I am being made uncomfortable viewing the PSD stats. I did not know Senegal had so many individual talents, that on paper are kinda better that what Poland can field; Koulibaly, Sadio Mane, Keita Balde are the big names I recognize, but looking at the supporting cast they look to have players that are better than Maczynski, Linetty, Milik, Teodorczyk, Rybus, Cionek etc.

Colombia is even more so laden with talented players, really dwarfs Poland aside for Lewandowski. Haha I wonder if Poland's team cohesion will be worth anything, could be a struggle to get out of the group.

And apparently if Poland gets out they will most likely play either Belgium or England.

Having seen a bit of Bereszynski, he seems good, dribbles decently, has speed and is a better fullback choice over Jedrzejczyk, Cionek or Rybus - meaning I think he would be decent as a LB with Pisczcek as RB. Bereszynski does not offer good crossing on the right, so its no loss, but you get a speedy attacking outlet on the left instead that could cut inside to cause havoc in interplay, and whilst not as tall as Jedrzejczyk for defending aerially, he looked decent overall in his defensive game.

The worrying parts for Poland's hopes is Krychowiak is on the bench again since Pulis left WBA, Grosicki is back to super-sub role for Hull under Slutsky, Kuba is starting at Wolfsburg (I watched a few games and he looked good) but he is having back problems and is missing games - hope his body can hold together till summer 2018. So there is irregularity of play-time for these players and Milik will be out till February, so who knows if he will even come into good form.

Bright side is Sampdoria are like Polonia Dortmund of a few years ago and might provide Poland new mainstays in the future in a SB, mid and forward , burgeoning talents with semi-regular play time on a team that is playing good football right now . Zielinski in the same boat, due to Sarri's system gets played semi-regularly, but he looks better each time I see him, damn fine player.

A real mixed bag of fortunes for Poland right now, will be interesting to see how the pieces fall next summer.
