Nuno Claro is the starting goalkeeper of CFR Cluj and probably one of the most debated players in the CFR and romanian football forums. Nuno Claro's positioning is absolutely below average and among the worse in the league, he's very eager at rushing out but doesn't really excel there many times since his timing is absolutely questionable. He generally stands way too far away from his line which makes him a possible victim for lobs. Nonetheless and despite some his of terrible games he's still the no1 of his team that's probably because of his attitude and ability to motivate his teammembers. His presence at the back is felt in contrast to Stancioiu for example who's rather passive and maybe Claro's general approach to football makes him a more valuable member of the team.

His mentality and teamwork could go up to 75 he's not that bad there, is he?

this keeper has a very bad positioning when the opponents attacks.
i mean he stays at 12m of the goal and he is very often surprised by long shots..

remember Axente's shot.
these are some recent examples but every match he has a very bad positioning.
i dont know, maybe he deserve a higher aggression or a lower defence

sorry for double post, but again..Nuno Claro has a very bad positioning in the goal(watch the goal that Nrby has posted in Niculae's thread, he was at 6-7m in front of the goal).

there's no need for a solution. if he's struggling to deal with powerful shots, drop his response to 81. if he has a poor positional sense, give him 77. if he has a tendancy to stand a few yards from the goal mouth, compare him to Boris Peskovic. he clearly doesn't know where to stand or when to come off his line.

he has a weird tendency to be too much infront of his goal, hence making him vulnerable at lobs.

Peskovic hasn't played a single minute yet and is considered the 3rd keeper at CFR for the moment. There's no point in comparing Nuno Claro to a guy I've never seen.
